This section provides a step-by-step guide on how to create a new post on our platform. Follow these instructions to successfully share updates, media, and more with your audience.

The Post Creation

To start creating a post, navigate to the main feed and click the "Create Post" button. This action will redirect you to the post creation interface.

Adding a Description

Description Field: Here you can enter the text that will accompany your post. This could be an explanation, a story, or any information that adds context to the media you are sharing.

Adding Media to Your Post

Enhance your post with different types of media by selecting from the following options:

  • Photo: Click on the "Photo" button to add images. You can upload files in PNG, JPG, or GIF formats. Remember, the maximum file size is 10 MB.

  • Video: Click on the "Video" button to include videos in your post. Ensure that the file is in a supported format and does not exceed the size limit.

  • iFrame: Use the "iFrame" button to embed content from other web platforms that allow iframe integration (e.g. vimeo). Add Iframe URL.

  • Poll: Engage your audience by adding a poll. Click the "Poll" button to set up your question and answers. Polls can be created independently or combined with a PHOTO, VIDEO, or IFRAME. If you initially chose another option but decide to create only a poll, simply deselect the buttons for photo, video, or iframe by clicking on them again.

Adding a Title and Options for Your Poll

  • Title: Enter a title for your pool.

  • Options: List the choices for your poll. Users can select from these when participating in the poll.

  • Add More Options: Click the "+ Add Option" button to provide additional choices for your poll.You can include up to a maximum of 10 options.

  • Deleting Options: If you need to remove any previously added options, simply click the bin icon next to the option you wish to delete.

Poll Features

  • Allow Multiple Answers: Check this box if you want to allow users to select more than one option in your poll.

  • Poll Duration: Configure the duration for which your poll remains active. Click the calendar button to select the closing date. If no date is selected, the poll will automatically close after the default period of 24 hours.

Setting Post Visibility

Choose who can see your post:

  • Public: Select this if you want your post visible to all users.

  • Collections: Choose this option to make your post visible only to specific groups or collections you manage.

Final Steps

  • After filling out the post details, select the visibility setting that best suits your content.

  • Click the "Create Post" button at the bottom of the page to publish your post.
